Bushwalking Flights to Melaleuca - Walking the South Coast Track or Port Davey Track 

Par Avion have been providing the bushwalking community with a reliable air service to Melaleuca for many years, operating the most number of flights into the South West National Park each year.

We drop off and pick up passengers at Melaleuca, giving you access to the South Coast Track to Cockle Creek, or Port Davey Track to Scotts Peak.

We are the only airline that operate a twin engine aircraft service to Melaleuca, giving an extra level of safety.

Flights depart every day at Cambridge Airport from early morning until late afternoon, at times on request - please contact us to see how we can tailor a flight to meet your needs.

If you wish to fly from Melaleuca to Hobart, we can also arrange this.

Flight to Melaleuca and bus pickup from Cockle creek.

Boat Tours to Bathurst Harbour

Why not include a boat tour to Bathurst Harbour as part of your bushwalk? Boat tours available for $30 p/p - giving you a chance to see Bathurst Harbour on the water prior to starting the South Coast Track

Important Information:

Baggage Limit: 20 kg per person (excess $3.50 per kg).
Freight to Melaleuca: $3.50 per kg (food drops to Melaleuca are available).
Fuel at Melaleuca: As fuel is unable to be taken onboard our aircraft, we have fuel available for purchase at Melaleuca. Please bring your own (empty) fuel container.
Gas Canisters: $10.00 per canister 230 grams.
Methylated Spirit & Shellite: $5.00 per litre.

We also have National Park Passes available for purchase for $30 p/p (2 month holiday pass).

Parking: You can park your car for free at Cambridge Airport

Accommodation: Par Avion have parterned with the Hobart Airport Hotel for some special rates, please contact us if you need accommodation close to the airport.

Transportation to / from Cambridge Airport: Please contact us should you require transport to Cambridge and we can provide you with transport options.

Boat Transfers from Melaleuca: Par Avion operate passenger boats at Melaleuca which are available with prior arrangement to take your party to various locations within the Bathurst Narrows / Port Davey area, such as Schooner Cove (a popular place to start the South Coast Circuit). Please contact us for further details.
